The Lelio and Lisli Basso Foundation and the Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal organized an interntional conference on human rights and globalization on 4th and 5th July 2016, in Rome. The conference’s aim was to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Peoples’ Rights.
The two day session, which has brought to Rome experiences and competences from all over the world, has produced an extremely rich debate, full of proposals, which we now want to share with all interested persons.
Our intent is to open a specific space on our website dedicated to this event, a virtual venue in fact collecting not only the videos of the conference but also the body of related materials – presentations, power points, media clips etc. – and images, hoping that the mutiple inputs provided by the conference will be further spread over through your listening and
reading of it, whenever possible, on our website. Thank you for disseminating!
